By using SecondLook or submitting an HVAC quote-check request, you agree to these terms.
Independent informational service
SecondLook provides an independent market comparison based on the information submitted and obtained from prospective providers. It is not an HVAC diagnosis, inspection, engineering calculation, emergency service, legal opinion, or guarantee of equipment suitability.
Provider matching
A request does not guarantee coverage, response time, pricing, or a successful match. Providers are independent businesses, not employees or agents of Local Authority. You are responsible for reviewing credentials, proposals, contracts, warranties, and suitability before hiring.
Phoenix HVAC pilot fee
The pilot requires no upfront deposit. If you hire a provider from a lower comparable quote Local Authority identifies, you agree to a fee equal to 15% of verified savings. Verified savings are the positive difference between the all-in original quote and the all-in selected quote after adjusting for material scope, equipment, warranty, rebate, or financing differences. No fee is due when verified savings are zero. We will confirm the comparison and fee before you hire.
Emergencies and safety
Do not use this service when loss of cooling creates an immediate health or safety risk. Contact emergency services, a licensed HVAC contractor, your landlord, or an appropriate local resource for urgent help.
Your submissions
You agree to provide accurate information, submit requests only for yourself or with authorization, and avoid unlawful, abusive, automated, or fraudulent use. You authorize us to contact you about the request when you provide consent.
No guarantee
We work to source and review claims, but information and regulations can change. The service is provided as available without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation, complete accuracy, or a particular result.
Changes
We may update these terms as the service evolves. Continued use after an update means the revised terms apply to later use.
